Addicted After All Addicted Series edition by Krista Ritchie Becca Ritchie Literature Fiction eBooks

:Sighs: This was by far the best of the Addicted novels! I absolutely love the closeness of Lily and Lo. There is Lily’s strength to get through dealing with pregnancy hormones. There is Lo’s realization that he wants the baby that he thought he never wanted. There is Lily confronting her mom after all these years. A whole lot of great things happen to them in this story. I have read it numerous times, and yet it still made me cry on more than one occasion (both happy and sad tears). I am so invested in these characters as if they were real people that I have known for years. Seeing good things happen to Lily and Lo makes my heart swell. They always think that bad things happen to bad people so they never think that they deserve anything good happening to them. I am super glad to see that it actually happens for them.
And now I move on to the next book…. (even though I have read that one a whole lot of times as well).

Addicted After All Addicted Series edition by Krista Ritchie Becca Ritchie Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS - Love these three couples with all my heart, and thank God we have more Calloway books to read so I don't have a book series hangover, just a tiny one. The book is very slow paced in my opinion so I couldn't give it 5 full stars. These kids should be rich spoiled brats, blame their addictions on their awful parents, enable each other. Instead all three couples live together & give each other the constant support & love they need. For as much as the press treats them like the Kardashians & tries to tear them down with nasty rumors, they stay afloat by holding tight to one another. And in the process they've grown up so much & have become stronger. Lily & Loren especially mature in this book. Lily is so child-like & silly, a strange balance to her constant sexual needs. Pregnancy hormones make her regress some & she worries she'll be a good mother, the media helping to feed into her fears. Lily ends up loving their baby boy something fierce, he actually distracts her from her sexual needs & gives her something positive to focus on. Lily has never really stick up for herself but she will fight for her son & I loved her confrontation with her mother. It became a pivotal moment when Lily talks about why she feels her addiction began & how she wants her son to be loved equally with Rose's daughter. Lily has an abundant amount of love to give & this makes her perfect mother material. There is a great scene where Lily watches Ryke & Daisy & their very hot PDA & she feels ashamed. You just want to hug Lily and tell her, hey ALL of us girls would have wet our panties had we been in her position! Ryke & Daisy are hot! Teens in the neighborhood start pranking the three couples & it is seriously not funny. They let it slide which I disagreed with, until it came to a head. They have two babies in the house! The pranks were cruelly aimed at Lo's alcohol issues as well as Daisy's PTSD fears. Being famous shouldn't leave them open to this kind of unfair ridicule. Lo & Lily walk down memory lane quite a bit, remembering back to being on a yacht four years ago when their real relationship began, when Lo asked her to let him try to be enough for her. Many hot moments in this book and this was one of them when Lo goes to great lengths to fulfill all of Lily's sexual pleasures! Connor & Lo also share a kiss that sounded incredibly hot! We see another side of Connor here & I have a feeling his past, with other men, will come back to haunt him. Lots of tearful moments, several which involve Connor of all people who I thought never cried! The first scene is the delivery of their baby when Connor is so terrified for Rose's safety but also beyond emotional about seeing his girl for the first time. Then Connor & Lo talks about the night Lo relapsed, how Connor held him & felt so helpless. It is obvious Connor loves Loren & their friendship means everything to him. OK so one more spoiler & I'll be done. Lo looks at his baby and tells Lily, "He looks powerful" with tears in his eyes. Then I joined Loren with my own waterworks when Lily asks, "Like a superhero?" And they constantly dress the baby up in superhero costumes which is adorable. Loren & Lily deserved this moment, their unmatched love for each other & their new baby & their hearts full of happiness!
I'll start off by saying if you haven't read any of the previous books in the Addicted Series, I strongly suggest you do so before starting this book. From book one (Addicted to You) we are shown just what Lily and Lo battle through. In each book leading up to Addicted After All we see the path in which Lily and Lo have journeyed on. We've experienced their highs and their lows.

Addicted After All is the culmination of these two characters lives and they have totally and completely anchored their way into my heart. I love everything about the writing. And if I wasn't holding a in my hands reading this story I'd swear to you that Krista and Becca Ritchie make you feel as if this is really happening. These characters are so endearing and loveable I truly never want the stories to end.

Addicted After All is just one of those books in a series that you wait for. You want the HEA for the two broken characters because they have fought tooth and nail to get to this stage in their lives.

I laughed. I cried. My heart sored and when it was all done and the last page was flipped I couldn't wait for the next book to be released. It's that, right there, that separates good writing from great writing. Good writing allows you to close the book and feel content with an ending. Great writing is knowing there is more to come and you so desperately want it that instant.

This book and the series ...it's never been just good. It's been great since book one and these two authors haven't lost their "A" game yet. Looking forward to the next book and anything they write after that.
